So praise the Lord, i am on the calendar to go see Dr. Richard Franco (the neurologist) on the 15th of this month. We are so thankful we are not going to have to wait over a month for an appointment and are praising God that He provided the date and the Dr.! please keep us in your prayers! Eric preached an incredible sermon this past wednesday as his Christmas message titled "fear not". I believe the Lord gave eric such a perfect sermon to speak not only to our students but to his wife in a powerful way! the message really challenged me to look at just how many times i have chosen fear over trust in this situation. BUT praise the Lord we do serve a Lord that is not only worthy of our trust but is completely trustworthy no matter the circumstance or situation.
we picked up the actual images of my ct and mri and as we pulled them up on the computer to look at it was a strange moment. being completely honest, i did not like seeing my images that looked similar to the ones that i've googled in an effort to find more out about fibrous dysplasia. i wanted to see nothing - to see clear...but then again faith is the ability to trust what you cannot see. and although my cat scan and mri might be showing "something" right now i am believing in what i cannot see and knowing that my God is alive and able to do what His word promises...that by HIS stripes we are HEALED!! thank you all for your continued prayers, i am humbled and thankful at the thought of them!
