We've had a couple "firsts" this week with our sweet little man. We have officially had 2 nights in a row with 4 hour stretches at night. Woohooo!!! Noah is doing great on his little schedule we have in place, thanks to Babywise! He had a serious growth spurt around 4 weeks where he was wanting to eat almost every hour at some points during the day and night. Thankfully that is over and we have gotten back on track with our schedule and it's really seem to help him alot. Noah is becoming much more alert, following our faces, reacting to our voices. He has literally been smiling since the day he was born, however, this week it's become an actual reaction. He is his most alert and happiest after his first 2 feeds for the day. We have our "talk time" where he is busy kicking, smiling, and cooing back at his mommy. We've also been working on self soothing this week and have started having Noah do 3 of his naps in his big crib (he sleeps in a cosleeper with us at night). He has done perfectly and has adjusted so well already. Of course as first time mom this means that I'm glued to his monitor during these naps haha but we're both progressing :). And finally, today was his first day to go to church. He did great and slept the whole time. He woke up after service was over just as calm as ever and waited for his feeding so patiently (I'm a proud mommy). He is still absolutely in love with his daddy and stares at him differently than anybody else. It really is so sweet to see...him and his daddy already have a very special connection. Eric is an incredible daddy to our sweet little man and it's been so much fun to just sit and watch the two of them together!! We snapped a couple pics today after church...I love my little family :)
